Take action with us before we socially distance skate (PLEASE WEAR MASKS) to rally in support of love and unity in the skate community!
OAKLAND will be kicking off RISE & SKATE by meeting at Fairyland (699 Bellevue Ave) at 8am.
Please show up on wheels with the local skate community as we gather together to complete a task based action for change & uniting diversity.
What to expect:
After we complete the task we will motivate one another before rolling through our city to wake up the streets with the energy of hope to vibrate throughout the rest of the day!
Accessibility Information: -low crowd -concrete pedestrian path & car-free asphalt along majority of the route. -minimal uneven pavement cracks and bumps. -approximately 3/4 mile will be on sidewalk along Grand Ave. -no hills except down to the boathouse. There will be two incline grade options , one for those who are more comfortable going down a gentle slope and another for those who enjoy a hill bomb.
